My cousin, Ericka, passed away on the 21st. She was only 28 and left behind two adorable kids. I think I'm still in shock over this. She was my happy, energetic, sweet younger cousin with an infectious smile and laugh. I just can't believe she is gone...



Ericka Lee West 1980 ~ 2008 Fillmore- Ericka Lee West, 28, left us on July 21, 2008, but her zest for life and warm, loving smile will live on forever. She never gave up on anybody and couldn't hate. Anyone who ever met her knows this. She was born April 7, 1980 to Lee Nolan and Shaunna Rae Fullmer West. She was a warm and loving daughter, sister, friend and most important, Mother. She leaves behind two beautiful children, Malachi and Alijsha West, parents, Lee and Shaunna West and siblings, Eric West, Melissa Young (Blair), Desire' Wood (Sean), Summer West, and Wesley West with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Myleigh. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Fillmore LDS 4th Ward Chapel. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Olpin Funeral Home from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Fillmore Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Funeral Home. Online condolences can be sent to www.southernutahmortuary.com

Pineview 2008

Every year, my husband's family spends a week camping up at Pineview Reservoir. This momentous occassion took place last week. We had a blast! My sister and her family was able to come up over the weekend, and my parents dropped by on Sunday. Bob's sister, Judi, and her fiance Lionel came by for the weekend, too. Bob's mom and two of his brothers, Chris and Mike, and their families stayed the entire week. It was so fun! Jake had such a good time playing with all of his cousins, especially Libby and Tyce. They were so cute together! Pineview was a ton of fun - I'll be posting more pictures later.

4th o' July

So, sure, the 4th of July was awhile ago, but I figure it's never too late to post about it! My sister and her family came down for the weekend, and we (and our parents) had a fabulous holiday! On the 4th, we went to the parade in Murray City and then headed over to Murray Park to have fun in the HOT sun. Here are some of my favorite pictures:

All in all, it was a fun day. We spent the rest of the weekend boating - even more fun! Why can't we have 3 day weekends all the time?
